I’ve always leaned a little more towards the crunchy side of living. The hippie culture has always fascinated me, ever since I was a little girl. When I was struggling with infertility in my late twenties I really focused on trying to live a more natural lifestyle. I switched to natural and organic self-care products, started using essential oils and questioned conventional food sources.
Now that I’m a mom I’m even more away of what I’m putting on and in my children’s bodies. However, not everything we eat is organic. I vaccinate my children. I went through several rounds of medicated fertility procedures until finally getting pregnant with our son. I often grab a cup of coffee (and sometimes a wrap & hashbrowns) at Dunkin Donuts on my way to work.
That’s my so called crunchy life. We do the best we can, with what we have and the time and resources available. I love sharing what I’m passionate about with others. Whether that be a cute craft or fun activity I’m doing with my kids, my
obsession love of everything cloth diapers, cooking recipes that make my life simpler, boasting about my favorite products or sharing my knowledge and love for essential oils. I’ll never pretend to me the crunchiest person you know, because I’m definitely not. But I’d like to think that I’m being a conscious mom, wife, friend, daughter and sister who may just introduce you to something new you’ve never tried before.
