Now that it’s getting colder here in New England, it’s time to get back to my winter skincare routine. I have relatively normal skin, but it does tend to dry out a bit in the the cold seasons. The dry air just really zaps my skin of any moisture it naturally had throughout the summer.
You can check out other natural self care products I love in this post.
My daytime routine is to cleanse, tone, eye & face serums, then finish with the oil before putting on any makeup. I haven’t added a cream moisturizer to my daytime routine yet, but we’ll see how my skin gets the colder it becomes. Before bed I cleanse, tone, apply eye serum and then add the moisturizer.
I love this creamy cleanser and have been using it for years. I tend to wear heavier makeup in the fall and winter and this cleanser goes deep to get my face smooth and clean. The menthol feels good to breathe in too.
Day Time Moisture:
After cleansing my face and removing any makeup with my usual toner, I first apply the skin serum. Just a drop or two and smooth it all over my face. It goes on really easy, and just soaks right in. Next I add the facial oil. I was very skeptical about adding a facial oil to my skincare routine because I was nervous it’d make my skin breakout. Glad I gave it a whirl. It feels so good and again like my skin just quenches it all in! And both of these products smell AMAZING!
Night Time Eye Serum:
I love this serum. I’ve only just recently started using it, but I like the results so far. It smells really good and goes on really smooth. My eye area does feel a bit tightened after a few minutes, but I like that and it tells me the product is working.
Night Time Moisturizer:
Since turning on the heat, I can feel and see a noticeable difference in my skin. It feels so dry in the morning and just a bit blah. This night cream solves that issue! It’s a thick and silky cream but soaks in nicely and doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy.
